Required Qualifications:

 

For this position the candidate will be working towards their high school diploma and require mature communication skills, basic knowledge in the sciences and math, as well as consistently maintain high academic achievement including a 3.0+ GPA or higher and a record of technical or scientific interests.

 

  • Applicants should be sure to state within their resume and/or within other application materials their preferred area of technical interest (e.g., one of the technical areas listed above in the Key Description of these positions).
  • To obtain a position, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen and must be available for full-time work (40 hours per week) for 8 weeks from Monday, 17 June, through Friday, 9 August 2019.
  • This position is an opportunity open only to applicants who will be rising high school sophomores or juniors in summer 2019 (i.e., students currently in the 9th or 10th grade). Consideration only will be given to applicants who meet these criteria. Thus, applicants also should be sure to list their current year in school on any resumes or other materials submitted in application to this job opening.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 


 

Prior experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial, but is not necessarily essential: computer programming, the Python computer language, Matlab software.
