Help solve some of our U.S. Government sponsor’s most difficult and urgent cyber related problems. Work with the Government in a fast-paced environment to develop cyber strategies, identify and experiment with next generation cyber capabilities, develop new architecture-independent tools and techniques, participate in technical analyses and assessments, define risk mitigation strategies, develop proof-of-concept prototypes, and perform vulnerability analysis.

Key Functions:

• Testing and Evaluation

• Research and development of unique, cutting-edge technical capabilities for understanding, assessing and analyzing cyber technologies

• Analysis of Network Systems
• Network Protocol Analysis
• Vulnerability discovery
• Multi-architecture Reverse-engineering

Required Qualifications:

We are interested in highly-motivated candidates with the following skills and interests:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering; TS/SCI with Polygraph; and 8 years of related experience including 2 years of leadership experience

• Computer Networking & Security
• Complex System Characterization
• Vulnerability Discovery and Analysis

• Knowledge/Expertise in systems security engineering including requirements analysis and system architecture design

• Provide guidance on ensuring systems are designed, developed and implemented with required security features and safeguards

• Experience with security engineering principles through the entire development process:  requirements analysis and decomposition, system design, critical design, implementation, resiliency and verification

• Ability to foster relationship development
• Be recognized by senior management as a thought leader

•  Guide others toward the proper balance of product depth with timeliness and technical improvements with programmatic constraints, even when hard compromises are required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of common Windows and Linux/Unix system calls and APIs

• In-depth familiarity with TCP/IP network protocols, application layer protocols (e.g., HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.), and general techniques for parsing network protocols

• Experience in Vulnerability Discovery and Analysis, fuzzing tools and dynamic system analysis

• Operating System Internals
• Embedded Systems

• Reverse Engineering and Debugging Tools (e.g., IDA Pro, WinDbg, Emulators)
