Join MITRE's and work in partnership with government subject matter experts to advise government leadership on critical aspects of IC collection integration.
 
Contribute to projects of national importance, collaborate with senior intelligence professionals, and enhance their IC domain knowledge, business and analytical processes, and innovative thinking. Be integral to driving the strategic decision-making process while leading training and tradecraft development based on your assessment of best-practices and evolving trends.
 
KEY FUNCTIONS:
 
• As an advisor, you will work within a MITRE team and directly with IC principals to apply knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to create multi-disciplinary collection strategies that balance collector attributes, availability, and intelligence needs.
• Apply knowledge of the IC collection, analysis, assessment, and mission information technology processes and technologies combined with the ability to derive meaningful metrics.
• Perform research; conduct surveys and interviews of IC professionals; conduct seminars, roundtables, and conferences to solicit requirements to inform the design and development of IC collection tradecraft frameworks, standard operating procedures, operational business processes, policy, and assessments of potential effectiveness of the proposed approaches. 
• This role will require execution of data gathering activities (interviews, conferences, brown-bags, seminars, etc.); detailed data collection and documentation; and formal report development, to include actionable findings and recommendations to the government sponsors. 
• This role requires the planning and execution of all details of the various forums (seminars, conferences, roundtables) necessary to solicit input from the IC professionals.
 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Polygraph Clearance, and 8+ years' related experience in the IC.

• Experience working as an advisor to senior IC executives and decision-makers.

• Excellent formal and informal executive communication skills, including strong writing and briefing skills.

• Ability to remain flexible to changing customer requirements and successfully operate in a fast-paced, complex environment.

• Ability to function independently, as a thought leader, and as a member of a larger MITRE and Government team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of and prior experience with the IC program at a strategic level.

• Experience performing senior level analysis informing immediate and long-term intelligence collection and integration activities.

• Strong oral and written communication skills for executive level communication.
