Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or similar field
• Must be a US citizen able to obtain and maintain a US government clearance **

Requirements / must have for consideration:

• Experience in robotics-relevant fields, such as computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, planning, human machine teaming, and multi-robot systems
• Ability to articulate AI and autonomy-specific challenges (in perception, reasoning, behaviors, collaborations), discuss critical issues, and identify gaps
• Familiarity with the state of the art in the fields of AI and autonomy
• Knowledge of the challenges of developing and testing AI and autonomous systems that are robust in real world scenarios
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skills
• Proven ability to work independently to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, languages, platforms, systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to foster relationship development with sponsors

• Advanced degree in a technical field of study
• Active/current DoD Secret Clearance
• Knowledge of test techniques and tools for robotics, autonomous systems, and AI technologies
• Familiarity with cloud-based computing systems, especially in context of continuous integration continuous deployment (CI/CD) implementations and automated unit testing
• Experience developing machine learning solutions with modern toolchains, e.g. TensorFlow, MXNet, Scikit-Learn
• Experience with robotics software and frameworks, e.g. Robot Operating System
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and python
• Familiarity with DoD efforts in development of test technology for autonomy/AI
• Familiarity with Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs)
• Knowledge of software engineering practices such as continuous integration, source control, software testing
